Winter Session courses are paid on a per-credit basis for in-state and out-of-state UConn students.This rate is $469 per credit for undergraduate
courses and $763 per credit for graduate courses. Payment options can be found on the Office of the Bursar website.
Winter Session courses are charged per credit at the in-state rate for all students.
Total course cost for a 3-credit Winter Session 2017 course:

Note: Payment for any registration that takes place after the Payment Due date will be due 3 days from the date of registration.
Adding and Dropping Classes
All add/drop requests received by December 29, 2016 will result in a full refund minus the non-refundable registration fee. Classes dropped after December 29, 2016 will not be eligible for a course refund.
To add/drop courses:
- Current UConn students may self-register (add/drop) for classes through their Student Admin accounts until December 29, 2016.
- NEW!! Visiting/NonDegree students: Registration is now a 2-step process for Visiting students: Application (Open Now!) and Registration (Opens November 2nd). Click here for registration details. Once you receive your confirmation email and receive access to the Student Administration System , you will search for and register (add/drop) for courses. Course drop requests after December 29th may be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by emailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org, but no refunds will be issued for drops after that date.
- For all students: To receive a full refund (minus the registration fee) for a course, non-degree/visiting students must request by the December 29, 2016 deadline. Please note that no refunds are given for classes dropped after December 29, 2016.
Winter Session Calendar
The dates for Winter Session classes including the final exam day are Tuesday, December 27, 2016, through Friday, January 13, 2017. Please note the following calendar which contains important information about holidays, make-up days, and the date. Please note that, if made necessary by weather or other conditions, make-up days may be required to ensure that courses meet minimum requirements for class contact hours.
